It’s been quite a month. We’re surprisingly close to Christmas now and the going home anxiety is in full force. What’s been getting me through? My completely out-of-control makeup addiction! Whether you think I have zero skill in makeup application or you believe I know what I’m doing with these brushes, I love splurging on these items. In case your significant other has last-minute shopping to do for you, below are my go-to beauty products.

Here are some things that I’m loving right now as the weather turns colder and the dampness sets in and my whole body aches in response….

Good Morning, Fighters!
Today I am going to share a couple of things that have made me happy lately!
The Canadian Pain Coalition is a Partnership of pain consumer groups, health professionals who care for people in pain, and scientists studying better ways of treating pain. This partnership began in May 2002 as an initiative of the Canadian Pain Society, which remains an active partner. If you’re a Canadian in pain, check them out!
These leggings! The left is from The Gap and the right is from American Eagle! So cute and comfortable! Definitely my new obsessions!
Breaking Thru The Fibro Fog is a fantastic, scientifically supported, book about Fibromyalgia. It was written by a Canadian Physician who has studied, diagnosed and treated patients with fibromyalgia. This book is phenomenal and proves, without a doubt, the truth behind fibro and is a must-read for any person or doctor who is still unsure about fibromyalgia as a legitimate diagnosis.

Good Morning Warriors!
Today I’m going to share two things with you:
The Arthritis Society is a wonderful Canadian organization that supports people impacted by Arthritis by providing workshops, funding for research, physiotherapy, and many other services. I have been volunteering with them for only a short while but am already so proud to be a part of this team! Please check them out if you’re a Canadian in need of fantastic rheumatological support!
Brene Brown is an author and so much more! She is a research professor, specializing in Social Work and has written books and given talks (check out her TED talk, below!) about vulnerability, worthiness, shame, and courage. Her newest book, Rising Strong, was suggested to me by my mother and has already made a huge difference in my life and how I see where I am now and where I want to be.
